I loved this place – like loved, loved and loved! There was no hustle or anything – nada. We biked from Fisherman’s Wharf to Sausalito (and back) for $20 bucks per person. That was a total steal. If we kept the bike for 3 hours or longer, it would have been only $29 bucks per person with the local resident or student discount. Very new to brand new bikes that were totally awesome to ride. We had little to no issues going downhill or uphill as the breaks, tires and handlebars were top-notch. The bikes also looked a lot better than the other competitors too. If you’re debating about renting a bike to bike the Golden Gate bridge, just do it. As a SF local, it was totally worth the price and experience. If you’re debating about renting at this place – well, just do it anyways! I price checked a few other places and San Francisco Bicycle Rentals was a good deal. You’re also able to ride the ferry back from Sausalito too for $14.25 one way, which is an awesome experience in itself too. My party didn’t since we’ve done the ferry multiple times. Totally recommend. Do it.
